使活性炭上所富集的有机成分脱附，该过程就是活性炭的再生。活性炭的再生通常是通过热风加热的方式或者通入热蒸汽，使活性炭所吸附的物质得以脱附下来而再生，但通入热蒸汽脱附的方式再生必须有冷凝装置，不然会造成污染物的再次扩散，而且冷凝液需再处理，不然也会产生二次污染，因此，这种再生的方式在实际应用中造成了工艺复杂、操作费用高、并产生二次污染等不足，其推广应用受到影响；通过热风加热的方式再生，脱附出来的有机质随热风一起进入催化床，在催化剂的作用下，能在较低的温度条件下使有机质分解成水和二氧化碳，经过催化床的热风可部分循环利用来脱附活性炭，这种再生方式一方面减少了能耗；另一方面，在使活性炭得以再生的同时，消除了活性炭再生造成的二次污染的问题。因此，吸附式催化燃烧，这种活性炭的再生方式简单、实用、无二次污染的特点，深受企业的欢迎。

利用热空气吹扫吸附饱和的活性炭，可使活性炭表面吸附的有机质从活性炭表面分离而使活性炭得以脱附再生。通过控制脱附热空气的温度和流量可将脱附废气中有机质的浓度浓缩控制在一合适浓度，脱附废气流经催化床内设的电加热装置加热至 300℃左右，在催化剂作用下起燃，催化燃烧过程净化效率可达 95%以上，燃烧后生成 CO2 和 H2O 并释放出大量热量，使气体温度上升，该热空气一部分直接排向大气；另一部分循环至预热室，与预热室外来的冷空气混合后作活性炭脱附气体使用。一般达到脱附～催化燃烧自平衡过程须启动电加热器 1～2 小时左右。达到热平衡后可关闭电加热装置，这样的再生处理系统靠脱附废气中的有机质做燃料，在无须外加能源基础上使再生过程达到自平衡循环，****大地减少能耗，并且无二次污染的产生。

活性炭吸附燃烧，吸附浓缩是我公司自主研发的新一代VOCs处理设备，是将吸附法浓缩单元和热氧化单元有机地结合起来的一种方法，主要针对大风量、低浓度的有机废气，经吸附净化并脱附后转换成小风量、高浓度的有机废气，对其进行热氧化处理，并将有机物燃烧释放的热量有效利用。

吸附浓缩的主要产品：分子吸附浓缩。蜂窝活性炭吸附浓缩、活性炭纤维吸附浓缩。其工艺原理是：大风量、低浓度有机废气通入活性吸附创，与蜂窝状活性炭充分接触，净化，并脱附再生后转换成小风量、高浓度的有机废气被送往催化燃烧床进行氧化，在280摄氏度以上有机物被氧化分解成二氧化碳、水等无害气体。燃烧后的热废气通过热交换器加热冷空气，热交换后降温的气体部分排放，部分用于蜂窝状活性炭的脱附再生，达到废热利用和节能的目的。

技术优势：采用吸附性能好、气流阻力小的蜂窝活性炭，吸附床气流层分布均匀稳定、压降下。不仅满足吸附净化要求，而且使吸附装置小型化、阻力低，用中低压风机就能满足排风要求，降低能耗和噪音污染。
